    Description

    For sale is a very unique piece.  I believe this was an old original Wagon Odometer that would have strapped to a wheel and moved back and forth to calculate distance.  This was made by LIONEL CORP.   This is so interesting as Lionel was well known for making trains, but realize that during war times (this being WWI) industries played a large role in developing other wartime items.  This is a great old collectible with the original leather case.  The hole on the leather strap is very worn, but otherwise this is a very nice piece.
