    Description

    Two Chinese Silk paper dolls that my grandmother brought back from China in the 1920's.  The feet, hats and some of the clothing accessories are paper (part of the man's sash is missing), however the clothing is patterned silk.  There are some stains due to age on the silk.  The woman is 14 cm and the man 20 cm.  The back is cardboard that was apparently glued to paper at some point.  The detail on the faces is well done.
