I bought this Tacklife MLR01 Laser Range Finder on Amazon on April 24, 21. I am a golfer and use these devices for that purpose. I actually already have two Bushnell Laser Range Finders, but got this for such a good price that I thought if it was a good one I could sell on EBAY to make a small profit. I purposefully opened the box, charged the device and used it at my local driving range. If the unit seemed to be low quality, then I was going to send back to Amazon. I believe this unit to be of good quality based on having used it once, and based on the comparative data below. I used targets on my home course driving range, and one target, a telephone poll, across a road. I compared the measurement to my two Bushnell Range Finders. One of the Bushnell's is an older 1500 Elite, and the other is a somewhat newer V2 model. You can see that at ~470 yards the Tacklife MLR01 picked up a target, while the V2 Bushnell would not.Elite 1500 V2 Tacklife MLR01

This laser has an internal battery that is charged via a cord. The Amazon specifications stated that one should get 30,000 readings per full charge, and the enclosed instructions state that the battery should last 800 cycles. The instructions also state that it takes about 3 hours to charge. I will include a copy of the Amazon receipt, but with the price paid not shown. The warranty card shows that up to a 6 month warranty is available from purchase date if you register on their website.
