Rhodocrosite with Elpidite - Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada
5.1 x 3.5 x 3.2 cm  (
2 x 1 3/8 x 1 1/4 inches)
Pinkish red rhombohedral crystals of Rhodocrosite to 2.5 cm are attached to matrix along with a few light grey acicular crystals of Elpidite to 1 cm. The Rhodocrosite crystals are fairly large for this locality.
An interesting combination specimen from Mont Saint-Hilaire.
