Painite 0.65ct Burma

Since you are interested in Painite, you are probably aware this is one of the worlds rarest minerals on the surface of the planet and even
up to
2001 only 3 crystals of Painite were known to excist. To this day this mineral is exclusively found in Myanmar/Burma, although new locations have been found and production has increased, most crystals are hardly translucent and mostly lower grade very dark brown to nearly brown black. The
specimen
here is clearly reddish brown, please see pictures for reference. In
rarity
it is still on par with hibonite, serendibite, hauyne, musgravite, johachidolite, etc.
As the stone is not certified, price is more economical.
