Up for auction is this very fine vintage 20th C Chinese silk embroidered ladies court robe / Qi Pao / Qi Fu in the traditional style and with wonderful details including butterflies, insects, flower blossoms, and stunning waves. There are brass “shou” longevity buttons and the robe is heavily embroidered on both sides.
In quite fantastic condition, I don’t see any holes or tears - maybe just very minor wear.
A really beautiful robe and would make a fantastic piece to wear or display.
Measures 55” inches from sleeve to sleeve, 36” inches from top to bottom, 26.5” inches across the base, and sleeves 10” inches long on each side.
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
